Hello. I'm pretty new to the whole roleplaying scence, and I have so many questions, such how do start? How do go about creating your own RP? What are some the greatest role playing theme sims out in SL?, etc. Any feedback about roleplay would be appriciated, thanks.

The destination guide has links to some roleplay sims, although there are more than they list:
There are many different communities, all with their own rules and regulations, which can seem quite daunting at times.

FOr Urban themes, check out Dead End, Hathian, or Crael City. All are chock full of GREAT RPers and people that can help you get started.

You can't go to dead end if your under 14 days old. And you have to keep in roleplay. If you do go then at least im someone and be very nice, likely they will help you. But i recommend saying away from harsh or advanced roleplay areas, you'll seem out of place.
Before trying to roleplay, make sure you know how to use secondlife. Get to know all of your preferences, what will cause lag and what won't. What looks good in your viewer and what doesnt. Know how to take photo's and change windlight settings. Learn how to teleport, run, fly and swim. Learn about putting on clothing and other things that attach to your avatar, huds, scripts all these things. And finally know about third party viewers. Some viewers look really good and some are laggy, your best bet isto test a bunch of them ands ee which one works for you.
Know what roleplay community you want to go into. Yes you can roleplay in all of them, but that would take way to long for some new. Don't be afraid to waste a little time. These things usually take a couple of months, and thats okay. Know your animations, figure out which looks good with your avatar and its height.
These are just a few :

Remember roleplay can be either boring or addictive, its your choice.
