Herb - I don't know how to state politely that you clearly can't do math, as 12/19 is not tomorrow, and 100 bucks doesn't even cover transfer fee. Thank you for your interest.

If  you get a SIM / region from LL this is what they charge.

Monthly Maintenance:
USD 295.00*
Maximum Prims: 15,000

So  even with a tier close date of the 19th saved the buyer money & helps get a little bit back to the person who has it for sale.  hes asking 450 & hes paying the transfer fee so thats -150  out of what hes asking.

Sorry meant 100 plus transfer fee.when buying from LL you pay tier after you use island.... there is 300 owing on 19th for use of island last 30 days.if you don't sell you will owe 300.

thats also not true... if a sim owner gets close to tier date with out any bites. They can simply cancle the sim for 50 bucks they do not have to owe them a full tier if they cancle the sim before the tier date.   That just means one less cheap sim for someone. its 1,000 bucks for a sim  plus tier to get a new one IF its your first sim. because you need a region. thats why alot go to forms or sim auctions.

The new owner assumes the monthly billing, which is charged on the same day of the month as always. Private Regions, unlike the mainland, bill for the coming month. If the Private Region bills on the 12th of the month, it will continue to bill on the 12th of the month. This means that if the Private Region is transferred on the 14th, the current owner pays for that month. If the Private Region is transferred on the 10th, the new owner pays the fee for the month.

Herb you need to learn to read.. i never said the new owner wouldnt pick up the new tier to LL on the 19th THE POINT I made was he if he didnt get any bites before the tier date he can Cancle. HE wouldnt owe 300 for tier if he cancles before then. IF you ever owned a sim you would know there is a 50 USD termanation fee if you choose to stop before next tier date wich for this sim is 6 days off atm. 2nd you can go to LL buy region forms and it will tell you

 SO thats 1295 USD to get a new sim through LL look it up.

 SO let me help you do some MATH. if you get this sim thats being resold

 450+295 ( on the 19th to LL)= 745  for  new owner wich  is alot cheaper then buying from LL still.

 

Not everyone can  cough out 1295 for a new sim so these forms are nice ... it helps them get alittle back.

Or he can just drop the sim & there is one less cheap sim for ppl to get who cant cough up the kind of money it takes to start one. After all this is why we shop in the sim forms

FWIW, I had also offered him $200 (including xfer) for this sim yesterday I believe it was, and was told he would rather have it reclaimed than accept such a lowball offer, so... *shrug*.
