Please Help - Eyes Bones

Snapshot_001.jpgIn Blender, how do I make it so my mesh does not rig to the eye bones? I'm parenting to the armature with automatic groups, eyes aside, it works quite well. When I upload and wear it, my face is cut out, a big hole. 

 

I've tried painting away the eye weight, no luck. I've tried removing eye vertex groups, nothing, still cavedinfaceguy. Tho, I have little experience with this, so maybe I did that last part wrong. Any help would be appreciated.

Removing the Eye Vertex Groups should do the trick. However i would do one more thing:

 

  • In the bone properties disable the option "Deform" for the eye bones
  • ensure that you have no eye vertex group in the list of vertex groups
  • Do your automatic weight from bones again to ensure the face gets correct weights (without taking the eyes into account)
  • Export and Upload again...

Now it should be all right also in SL.
