I made a bug report, if anyone else has the problem: https://developer.blender.org/T41107?workflow=create I discovered someone else -- also with a Mac -- had reported the same problem, and the report had been closed, as supposedly it was fixed. Neveah Niu Posted July 17, 2014 Share Posted July 17, 2014 A few months back, I had issues with Blender crashing on iMac and on my alienware, due to the fact that I had a few versions of blender installed on each system at the same time. You may want to check if you have any previous versions of blender install and remove the earlier versions and do a fresh install of the latest version of blender. Good Luck!
