OhSinatra
I'm posting in this part of the forum in hopes that most of the mesh guru's might know this answer but I've purchased a mesh body from "TheShops" and its the newer (BETA) version. With my graphics at standard settings the mesh body is invisible. The designer indicates this is a 'viewer' issue and to fix it you have to disable "Basic Shaders" which sure enough fixes it but it looks terrible. :( Has anyone else experienced this and found a solution? I've tried in a couple other viewers with the same result.
Bobbie Faulds
First off, what video card are you using. The AMD has a problem with viewing mesh with the latest driver update. Also, what viewer are you using? Need that info to help.
Rolig Loon
If disabling basic shaders works for you, then chances are pretty good that you have an AMD/ATI graphics card. AMD/ATI cards have a long history of not working and playing nicely with SL because they are optimized for DirectX instead of OpenGL. The most recent drivers for AMD cards have made things worse than usual. See http://wiki.phoenixviewer.com/ati for solutions. The best option is to download and install an older set of drivers for that card, NOT the current set.
