Mesh Physics Twitch - OpenGL/Enabled Steamed VBOs

I have been having an issue with mesh physics for a long time now, in that the mesh seems to twitch even when the avatar is completely still(Such as standing on a pose stand.) The twitch is literally like a spas out of the mesh, this effects attashed mesh objects and the body shape mesh that is affected by the physics.

 

The way I have figured out to get around this is by disabling OpenGL and Enabled Streamed VBO's. But obivously I take a major performance hit by turning these items off. I'd like to understand where the hang up is, obviously something to do with my GPU and my client. (This issue persists across all clients, LL's client, Firestorm, Dragon and so on.)
