Making Mesh Clothes With MAC (im new in sl)

Hello . this is my first thread and i dont know too much about SL FORUM

So i Started Using Second Life, and i want to make Mesh Clothes (or however you say it) i been looking how to make in Blender, but i need and plug in called AVASTAR and I have a MAC and i dont know if it would work.

I would like to know if there are other ways to make mesh attached to the avatar (I mean clothes)

and what are the things you need to start designing and how to get them .

If blender works on mac avastar will. Blender is free at blender.org and you can purchase avastar inworld or on the web at blog.machinimatrix.org

Just to point one thing out, you don't NEED Avastar, there are other resources.  That said, if you are going to use blender and can afford the tiny fee that it is, it's a no brainer.  Be sure to join the inworld support group too.
