Greyed out Joints and Skin weight on import from 3DS MAX

Okay guys, I'm having a lot of trouble with importing mesh to SL. I am using 3DS Max 2011. So I made this simple dress, weighted it right and everything, added the bones to it, everything works fine so I was happy with it. However, every single time I try to import the skin weight and joint positions are greyed out! I exported it from open collada, that didnt work, then from Autodesk Collada, no luck. I select them all and press export selected all the time too.. It doesnt make sense to me as to why it wouldnt work. Everything is there and should work. I got my Skeleton from SLAV 3Ds Max importer, so I figured it should work if it did for others. Please help me! Thanks!
