1. When I bake shadows I get this using Blender 2.6...
Its all pixalated, not the smooth surface it's suppose to be? I followed a tutorial but not sure what I"m doing wrong?
2. Also, where do I find the "Quick Edit" or "Quick Project" in 2.6? I watched a tutorial on this but when i have my paint side bar open I can't find it anywhere? Is it an add on? I looked and couldn't find it either?

Your pixelated shadow map could be due to overlapping uv faces or maybe wrong settings in the world properties. But could be a lot of other things too. Can you expose a blendfile ? ( for example to http://pasteall.org/blend )
"Quick edit" is in the texture paint tool shelf. You will also have to define an image editor to get it to work. This is a nice tutorial: http://www.blendtuts.com/quick_projection

btw, there is another interesting tool out in the web Check this thread :
I tested the addon and found it has enough quircks to easily get frustrated with it. But once you got how it works, it is not too bad. Well, there is some ongoing work on usability.

Thanks for the suggestions. Turns out I found the Quick Edit thing, but now the "apply" function doens't apply, it just remains as is. ugh so frustrating when you're a noob! lol
