Removal of Related Items

Is it possible to remove the Related Items that show when adding a Related Items. I have many items that no longer exist and want to remove the clutter. If it is possible to remove those Related Items that show in the list, how?

Just click the Delete button to remove them.

There is no delete button. Nor does highlighting the item and pressing the Delete kez produce the desired result. These are the items in the dropdown menu once you perform a search. Some of those I would like to delete.

Oh in the drop down -- you can't, as I recall reading. One of many things that do not work on that website.

I was wondering about this as well. I even have listings that I have deleted that show in the search.

Question: I tried editing the Item Titles for the items that have sold out to show * SOLD * so I know that when searching for Related Items, but it won't let me. Is there any way around this? Or any other tips on how to work around this issue?
