I (still) cannot upload items to the Marketplace

I created a store but I cannot upload items to it. I drag and drop items in the Merchant box, click the button "Send to Marketplace", a message tells me that "All folders were successfully sent to the Marketplace", which is actually not true since they are still in the Merchant box, and not in the list of unassociated inventory items (which is still empty).

I also tried out with the Second_Life_Project_Managed_Marketplace_3_7_21_296858_i686 viewer. I get the error
            The transaction with the Marketplace failed with the following error: Reason: 'STATUS_ERROR'

I tried the trick explained here to repair my Merchant Outbox: http://tinyurl.com/kwxum4q

But that does not work.

My Import failure log is empty.

I opened a first ticket on Dec 13 and an incompetent person answered on Dec 16 that I had to create a store. But I do have a store right here : https://marketplace.secondlife.com/stores/166084. And that I had to open a new case in the future for any problem. Not being sure if i had to click the "reopen the case" button or open a new case, on Dec 16, I opened a second ticket. And I still have no answer. So could a Linden reading this forum fix this silly network problem ?

It is absolutely unbelievable. The same incompetent person answered the ticket and asked me to follow the step to create a new store ! How can I create something which is already created ? There is nothing for that in menus. My Merchant Outbox needs to be repaired. This incompetent person is not even able to click the link I gave in the ticket (https://marketplace.secondlife.com/stores/166084).

 

"I do not see a store in the Marketplace listed under your avatar name still. There does not appear to be one active, or inactive. You will need to follow the steps to set up your new store "

 

Ans she closed the ticket again !!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Could a real Linden help me please, and not this person ? Thanks.

I have the same problem. I also did set up Managed Marketplace Viewer (linux x64) and confirm exactly the same Error (STATUS_ERROR) appeared only once on login. And never again. but anyway no real success.

And weird issue: whenever I place something in my Merchant Outbox it leads to my Trash folder empties.

People say it is because Merhant Outbox when it was "normal" system folder like few others got deleted by some reason. And cannot be accessed properly.

some people contacted support and support performed real action to restore now hidden Merchant Outbox folder. Users cant to anything. At least no action a normal user can perform I aware of.

If anybody has clues let us know.

Yes exactly, i see the error message STATUS_ERROR on login only with this special viewer. I tried a trick which did not work: log in the beta grid and try to access the Merchant outbox from it but the viewer tells me that my store does not exist. I also tried to modify the profile of my store in the hope that something is reloaded somewhere... But that failed too.

We need a Linden please. Not the woman of the Linden support who closes all my tickets and who signs up with her real name (she's probably never online). This woman is as nice as incompetent.

Finaly I found the solution.

I accidentally have TWO folders named Merchant Outbox in the Inventory main folder. You can see them turning on appropriate flags in Debug Options ( I use firestorm )

In such my case the problem is the merchant outbox window displays content of one folder while the viewer attepts to send items from another folder to marketplace.

I was unable to delete any of those two folders and stuck.

But I managed to send items ot marketplace. and that's how I did

 

0) make both Merchant Outbox folders visible in your Inventory and empty

1) drag any dummy object in the merchant outbox WINDOW. this step will mark the fake outbox

2) put in the OTHER(REAL) outbox the sub-folders you with to transfer to marketplace

3) click Send To Marketplace button

4) you get SUCCESS and your REAL outbox folder in inventory will become empty . this is good sign.

5) Make sure you got all the items loaded to marketplace

6) remove dummy object from outbox WINDOW (your FAKE outbox will become empty as well)

That worked for me.

Could you be more specific ? What debug function ? Where ? How can you see the Merchant Outboxes in the inventory ?

This is an awesome fix and works, but is there a way to delete the phony Merchant Outbox Folder so you can just use the Merchant Outbox Window?
