So, I ain't been active on second life in some time. And, given I made my money on my items way back. I made them full perm freebies well over a year ago. But, today I get 3 emails about my most popular items being pulled. And, no other information. Just general garble on the terms and condition page that doesn't have to do in specific with my items. There is nothing wrong with my listings. All my items are made by me as well (I have the original models and textures in program native format to proove it). So, any one know what the deal is? Because, even though I am not active any more people really seem to like my burning logs/burning embers/and my rock ring. And, I want people to keep being able to use them. I don't think it's fair that an item gets pulled with out a clear reason and giving me a chance to resolve what ever issue there is. But, I don't know what to do about it.

I checked the cached versions of a couple of the listings. Your burning log isn't a range, stove, oven, grill or BBQ. Cut down the keywords to what the items actually are and categories they're actually in. Descriptions and keywords should only be things that describe that one item. Not other related items or other items you sell. This is most probably the reason the items were taken down.

Though I also think you could do with unique descriptions for each item. The two I checked had an identical description, and neither one explained what the item actually was. I could see that possibly getting flagged if they have an automated system looking for identical product descriptions.

The good news is this will be a pretty quick fix, as it's nothing to do with the item. It's just changing some words around.

ok, I reduced the keywords. I had them up there the way they were because those were the things I searched looking for things like this. When I found little to nothing that was quite right. I decided to make them myself. I figured if I search for components by the type of object I would want to build with them, others might.

Also, while the descriptions are all based off a singular template I made for getting accross major points quickly. It's mostly the middle and the end that are the same. the inbetween addresses the specific product. But I changed these up some to be different so hopefully it ain't auto flagged any more. What I don't get is. They have been up there like that a long time. Even before I made them freebies (and only sold them at under production cost) the descriptions were similar. How does it take so long for something to go wrong like that? It didn't go wrong when I was selling several a day. And, it didn't go wrong after I made them freebies and dozens a day were moving. But, suddenly there is an issue with something so long standing...seems nit picky to me.

Any way they are back up with what i think are more then sufficient alterations...hopefully they don't go down again. And, thanks for the assistance. I really wonder sometimes why sl just doesn't have a peer review system, something akin to IMVU's (Which I found to be really good for quality assurance most of the time). I really don't like the idea of a programme assessing me seemingly at random.

Listings generally don't get taken down unless someone flags them, so some things might be flagged in a day and some things will never be flagged. But you can never really know. The marketplace decided today I couldn't use the word 'AOs' in a product description, when I did so last week. So now I'm writing animation overrides whenever I need the plural. It works in mysterious ways.

Yeah...flagging any way seems a bit lazy... What kind of troll goes around doing self appointed quality assurance and doesn't contact people to let them know they think something is wrong with it. And, what kind of system automatically seems to take the side of a flagger no questions asked?
