how do i get my 80 us dollars of L$ on my account

i put 80$ us dollars worth of L$ and it didnt show i was suppose to get 20000 and 4000 L$ and all i got was 4000

When you check your balance, always look on your dashboard at secondlife.com >>> Account .  Don't trust the balance that shows on the top of the screen in your viewer.  That can easily be out of sync with yiour dashboard.  You can sometimes click on the L$ symbol (not the Buy L$ link) a few times and trick it into updating, but it often won't update properly until you relog.  It's much smarter to look on your dashboard.

If you are just buying $L for the first time, you have most likely run into "trading limits."  New accounts are restricted for the first few days in how much they can buy.  It's a fraud prevention measure, nothing personal.  In just a few days, your limit will increase dramatically.
