Welcome to Second Life and congratulations on becoming a Premium member.

Although you will get $L300 every Tuesday as one of your Premium benefits, I would encourage you to NOT go out and start spending money right away on clothes and accessories.

Instead, use your Search function (CTRL+F) to find some of the many freebie stores in Second Life, or look for freebies on the Marketplace.  Also, try some of the many hunts in Second Life to find even more free things.  Google "Second Life Hunts" or start here: http://slhunts.wordpress.com/

A lot of freebies don't look as nice as the dresses you have to pay hundreds of $L for...but some of them DO look very nice, and shopping for freebies will give you a feeling for HOW to shop, and what does and does not look good on you.
