What is/how large is a parcel? Is it the entire land area? Or is it say the house I have?

A "parcel" is a term used in real estate (both Real Life and Second Life) to mean "a piece of land". It could be as large as an entire region, or as small as 16 square meters (a 4m x 4m piece of land, the smallest possible in SL). So, for example, a Linden Home sits on a 512 square meter parcel.
Yes, there ARE great Mainland rentals...in Masocado, baby!
