I have no idea what I did wrong. I think that should be my motto: hehe.
I bought an island estate over the weekend. It is a great estate. I realized that I would really like some more ocean so my friend can play pirate fights. So I checked the literature and it said that I could assign someone to be my neighbour. I then bought a homestead thinking I could join the two estates if they were next to each other. I checked the x and y axes. and found the appropriate block on the map in the land store and bought it.
When I went to the new place it is not next to estate at all. I checked and there is nothing next me on either the west or the east side. The new estate is from what I can see on the mapa about 18 estates away to the west. No way can I join them.
Is there a way to undo this and put the estate next to mine? Or am I stuck with two disjointed island estates? Again, I have no idea what I did wrong, the x and y lined up in the map. The literature mentions moving and estate and the price. Is that an option?
The price to move it is half what I paid for the homstead.
