2) Take back into your inventory all the items you rezzed.

3) Abandon your Linden Home [ World / About Land / Abandon Parcel ]

6) Go here http://usd.auctions.secondlife.com/ and buy a nice big mainland parcel with lots of prims.

7) Claim your new parcel & Start rezzing.....

Oh if you were expecting an answer to your question as asked, you can't add more prims to the Free Linden Homes!

The short version of KarenMichelle's beautifully written answer .....

You can't.

The number of prims you are allowed on any parcel is directly proportional to land area. You get to rez 0.2285 prims for every sq m of land that you own or rent.  If you want more prims, get more land.

The slightly longer answer .....

You learn to economize, rezzing only what you really need to rez and buying only items with the lowest prim count (land impact) that you feel comfortable with.  Favor mesh items with low land impact and look for items that use exquisite texturing to provide detail rather than using extra prims to do it.
