It's easy to convince yourself that things are out of level, since the view on your screen is a perspective view. You'll go nuts, seeing everything as tilted before long.

Take Pam's advice.  Select your house with the Build/Edit tool, and then click the Edit Linked box and click on the floor.  Open the Object tab of your Build/Edit tool and look at the rotation numbers on the bottom of the left-hand column.  If the floor is level, X and Y will be 0.00.  If the floor is level, you can be 99.44% sure than the entire house is level, since builders will rarely make a house with walls that are tilted, relative to the floor.

@Rolig

The other 0.56% looks like this

If you're adventurous, create a sphere in your house, set it to temporary in case it gets lost then set it to physical to make it roll around. You can find both settings in the edit menu under the object tab. Then go into the features tab and change the gravity to 10 and the density to 5000. Make sure the ball isn't moving right away after you close the edit menu, you can keep it in place with the cursor (which turns into a hand). If you let it go and the ball starts rolling, the floor isn't level.

Of course this isn't as easy as checking the rotation, but it's a lot more fun:)
