Is it possible to transfer deeded mainland from one of my groups to another?

I am at the top of my land credit for the tier I am in and want to transfer land from one to the other. Buying it for Group does no work cause there are too few land credits for the Group. And when I just want to buy it for me, it says I will go up to the next Tier level, although my total land credits contain all land for both groups. And ideas on this, how to transfer without going up to the next level?

First, go to the group info window for the selling group.  Go to the Land and $ tab and remove your tier contribution.  You will get a warning message saying the group has insufficient tier.  Ignore that.

Next, go to the buying group's info window.  Donate sufficient tier to cover the about-to-be purchased land.

Now, be sure you are wearing the group tag for the BUYING group.  Go to the About Land window and use the Buy for Group button to purchase the land for the new group.

OR...you can skip the second step above, and check "owner makes contribution with deed" when buying the land for the new group.
