Ok noob question.. can gesture be played on touch - script

Hi, I want to send halloween party invite that will have the Picture invite, then it has script inside to give notecard and LM, but also would like to have a Gesture that plays  and fills up the screen plus gesture has scary sound.

Can I set the gesture to trigger off the touch of the giver script?

Not directly, since LSL scripts don’t have (that I know of) the capabilities to deal natively with gestures; however, gestures themselves are just sequences of individual actions (text messages, sound triggering, animation triggering, and programmed pauses), all of which can be individually performed through scripting. Therefore, all you have to do is break down the gesture(s) you want to be played into their individual actions / steps, and program these in the same sequence in your box’s script. For almost all practical purposes the result will be the same, and scripting will offer you far greater flexibility.

Gestures are not server side but played by the viewer. So a script can NOT play gestures.

As mentioned above only thing you can do is rebuild the gesture. But you need the sounds for that and I assume you have only the gesture. So the answer stays: NO.
