how to detach mesh items to inventory

hi i bought slink feet but i cant open the item as it tells me to detach item to inventory and rez in world, how do i do this ?

If your feet came in a box, and you are wearing the box for some reason, right click on it and DETACH it.  Then go to a place where you are allowed to rez objects, rez your box, OPEN it, and copy its contents to your inventory.

If your feet are already unboxed and in your inventory, right click on them and select ADD.  If you are wearing them, right click on them (either in inventory or on the feet themselves) and select DETACH.
