Doesn't an uploaded image go into my inventory?

I uploaded an image to my profile through my firestorm viewer yesterday & I see it isn't on my profile now! I paid 10L to upload the image from my PC but it's not in my inventory!

Doesn't the image go into my inventory? If not.....why?

Do I have to pay 10L to re-upload the same image?

Yes, when you upload an image it goes into your inventory.  if you want to use it as your Profile picture, that's an additional step...just drag it from inventory and drop it onto the picture area of your profile.

To see if an upload actually took place, there are a couple of things you can check.

First, look carefully in your inventory.  Uploaded images go to the Textures folder, NOT Photo Album.

Second, check your Transaction History under your account information on this website.  If the upload took place, you'll see a $L10 charge.

One possible reason that the transaction may not have happened is that you used the temporary upload feature.  This allows you to see the texture in world...but others can't see it, and it vanishes when you log out.

Ah....Textures!! Didn't even cross my mind, I automatically assumed Photo Album! It was there!

I will double check Transaction History though....
