The answer pretty much depends on what you want to do and even then, we could only answer as far as to what programs are usefull for what tutorials you should look for. Creating things in SL can be pretty complex.

If you mean to create clothes and stuff you can join serveral groups in SL, visit classes that teach about such topics, BUT you need to know what you want to create. The inworld search (ctrl +f) might help you to find groups and places. Also the forum section here you can use to ask questions. http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Main_Page -> creation portal is good to get an overview. Try the knowledge base as well, try some related words for searching stuff (like "creation") http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/tkb-p/English_KB%40tkb . Other resources might be 3rd party forums SL related, there are many around, maybe in your native language too.
