If i try to teleport, they say that I have to change my preferences, but how?

They say: the region you're trying to visit contains content exceeding your current preferences. You can change your preferences usinge me> preferences> general. But witch preferences, and where and how exactly? I don't get it, and I tried a lot but, it stil says that.

You use the Preferences menu to make many of the setup choices about how you want to use Second Life.  You'll find it in the Me menu in the upper left corner of your screen once you are logged in to SL.  The specific option you are after is right at the top of the General page in Preferences.  If you are over the age of 18 in RL, you may choose to set your viewer for access to Moderate and Adult regions in SL as well as the General regions.  If you also want to be able to use the Search function in your viewer to find Moderate and Adult events and places, you will also need to make the same choice in Search.  Finally, if you intend to see and possibly buy Moderate or Adult items in Marketplace, you will need to set your preference in the dropdown menu at the top/center of the Marketplace screen when you log in there.

Since you registered with your real life information and birth date, all you need to do that is age related is to make sure you have selected the level of information you are willing to see in all these locations:

1) In the Viewer General Tab [ G ] [ M ] [ A ] - Check the desired options

2) In the Viewer [Ctr'-M] World Map Events: [ G ] [ M ] [ A ] - Check the desired options

3) In the in-world Search Window - Perform any search then check the desired viewing levels in the upper left area of the search window - [ G ] [ M ] [ A ]

4) In the MarketPlace click on the Show maturity levels Down Arrow and select the desired viewing options phrase. {Note: I find it interesting that you can select Adult Only as one of the options here}

Additional Note: Do understand that many Adult venues may also impose a "How Long Has the Avatar Been Created" restriction. This is to keep out griefers and in some cases, new persons [ noobies ] from these areas.
