Coren Southpaw
Having a problem on my laptop where after i login to SL on my laptop the entire computer locks up, often with stuttering sound, has to be manually rebooted. this will occur anywhere from 10 seconds to 10 minutes after logging in, seems to be random.system specs - alienware M17r1 core 2 duo 2,4ghz, 8gb ddr3, ati mobility radeon HD 3870x2 running win 7 ultimate x64using the latest firestorm release, however the problems are still present with latest LL viewer, after doing multiple clean installs of each. Have run the laptop on a rather agressive cooling mat, so unlikelly that it's overheating. im guessing it's a driver problem based on the stuttersing sounds when it crashes but not sure how to check or how to go about fixing itany insight would be awsome. ~Coren

Marigold Devin
Greetings, Coren In theory you should be able to run Second Life, but you definitely need to visit the AMD website and update your drivers. Also there is much more information on AMD's Knowledge base of how to troubleshoot your particular system. http://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/TroubleshootingGameIssues.aspx Other responses may also follow here, so please keep checking back. Coren Southpaw
As far as I know its a legacy driver and there haven't been updates for a while but I'll grab a fresh set and see what happens
