Had the same thing earlier today...no friends showing online yet many were.

Also, have had search not working

Only seems to happen for awhile then it's back to normal.

I think perhaps this occurs when the 'friends list hampster' and the 'search hampster' take their coffee breaks.

That happens to me pretty regularly, sometimes one or two friends will show (they must be the special ones idk) and I won't know about anyone else if or until they message me.
