Interesting login message

I was having lag and texture issues with sl when suddenly I crashed. When I tried logging back in sl gave me a message that read something like this "your account will be unavailable untill 4/14/14 at 1935 pst." Just curious if anyone else has gotten this? Interesting I am able to log in with my alt.

I believe that's a standard error message. And its one that can often be ignored.

While it IS a flag that "it will take a little bit of time for the servers to stop gagging and spit your avatar back up", so hold off on too many speed attempts to log back in...

You can also usually get back in within a minute or so.

I often get that message when attempting to log-in immediately after a crash. I've presumed it was an estimate for how long it would take the grid to clean up the mess left behind by the crash. That estimate is generally in the range of 5-10 minutes, and I'm usually able to return in less than a minute.

But the time listed in your message is still hours away, so you may have run into a different issue, or perhaps crashed out of a noob server that's still undergoing training, doesn't yet know how to clean up crash lint, has run the bell and flipped on the "service" light in its lane and is now waiting for a supervisor server to void the transaction.

If the error message simply starts with "Your account will be unavailable until ..." rather than "The system is logging you out. Your account will be unavailable until ... " that would suggest a small suspension.

Although, often times, I have lag issues prior to a sudden forced logout, and then if I try to log in to the same location immediately, I get the "The system is logging you out. Your account will be unavailable until ..." message for several minutes (the system is programmed to take a maximum of 15 minutes to completely log an avatar out).  If you relog into a different location you can sometimes seem to get in a little bit quicker.

And an alt should have absolutely no problem logging in whatsoever, because it is a separate entity to your main avatar.
