Ideas for Linden home indoor "pool"?

Hi all,

For anyone familiar with the "Overlook' style of "Meadowbrook" house, it has what's described as an indoor pool but seems to be just a flat area demarked on the floor at one end with sort of a swirly texture. My ava just walks across it.  I have no real building experience but can move and resize objects.  Any ideas or suggestions for making this a functional space and/or look good? The way it's designed it's not useful as a pool but also interferes with making it into something else. Low prim solutions are especially welcome.

Put a water spout in it so it looks like an indoor fountain.

In the Meadowbrook therme, I think the Plumtree and Greyson are the best models. Why don't you abandon the Overlook and get a Plumtree so that you don't have the problem of an indoor reflecting pool?

I've turned it into a little koi pond.

 

I like the other ideas that have been posted too.  Once you've decided on the decor, take some photos and show it off!
