I haven't been very often but I'm glad I was there last night, that was fun. Although I'm not sure being thrown into the deep frier is a way to learn to dance. Then again, if you dance with Maddy you gotta expect some surprises.

And Sylvia somehow I've not seen your signature before. It is absolutely dead solid PERFECT.

I hope you start coming by more often...we don't deep fry noobs every night, but it's still fun. :smileywink:

And thanks...I actually stole the sig from a friend for my profile. I could not think of any better way to say it myself!

I am thrilled to see that the hangout has made it into the destination guide. The hangout has long been a fixture to a lot of people, having withstood the test of time so far, and with any luck it'll continue on for long time to come.

We had a guy stop by this morning who started looking for stuff to complain about.  He went on about the (non-working) HUD being against the law  (his words, not mine) because it was remote monitoring.  He also accused someone who was there for the first time of using a hacked viewer.  Turns out he owns a bar that is not the top of the destinations list.

I do think it is cool we had our little happy shack recognized in the destination guide but if it is going to set us up for harassment from owners of clubs trying to make money, I wonder if it is more of a curse than a reward.

Hey, I heard something about this thing called "Red Zone" that you can use to keep undesirables like like that out of the club! Let me see if I can find you the link on Marketplace...

/me laughs.

Yeah, he mentioned that the HUD was like Redzone as well.  I asked him if he had a device to tell him when people were at his club he said he did but it was different because his club was private property so that was allowed.

Ah, so that's OK then :smileyhappy: It sounds a little like "I object to anyone spying on me, but I need to be able to check on who's coming to my club." Welcome to the goldfish bowl, eh?

Eh, that joker left my alt an offline IM telling me it was against the law. I was tempted to tell him to call his local police dept. to report the crime, or better yet the FBI, but I decided to be nice by biting my tongue and ignoring him.

I guess I should have at least acknowledged his complaint by thanking him for bringing such a heinous criminal act to my attention and rewarded him with a half eaten box of stale marshmallow peeps.
