well, actually this is not necessary because when buying clothes, clothes already includes their different sizes. I did this be entertained looking for how to pass the measures of a regulatory real to represent it in a shape of second life, is only a curiosity, but perhaps someone can be of help for your job.

:matte-motes-big-grin-wink:I have included the rectangles of color, for example if someone wants to spend their real measures of chest, waist, hips, with those rectangles, a calculator, and this link can achieve it:  http://es.easycalculation.com/area/ellipse.php

Currently not even the so called "standard sizes" are standard, as I wear anything from an XXS to a M depending on the designer and cut of the clothes. Its already confusing enough without adding in each RL region's interpretation of sizes. Euro sizes are not standard to the rest of the RL world. SL needs a consistent size system for SL that all avatars understand no matter where they live in RL and designers need to be sure their clothes conform to them.

Personally I think the entire 'standard sizes' should be redone as they sampled such a small number of avatars to arrive at them and most people I know can't consistently wear the same 'standard size' .  A standard size should be based on the actual slider numbers not metric system since there is a difference in the two.
