ShadowLillie
Hi , I'm looking for some help getting started with creating clothes.I have gimp and I am quick learner. If anyone can point me in the right direction that would be great. :matte-motes-bashful-cute-2:
Sassy Romano
Are you thinking of texturing mesh kits or making system layer texture clothing? Fundamentally the same skills will be used in gimp but my advice would be to look at mesh kits and not spend time on system layer clothes. Even better, learn blender or similar. Amethyst Jetaime
Here is a good place to start. This SL wiki page contains templates and links to tutorials for both system and mesh clothing. Google is also your friend. You will find a lot more tutorials on the web. Google Second Life clothing. Once you get started you can return here to the forum to ask specific questions in the appropriate sub forums.
WKish
If you want to create a nice clothing collection then see different style and get an idea first.
Bobbie Faulds
Actually, I have to disagree on the system clothing. Those templates are what the mesh bodies/attachment that so many are wearing use. So...definitely worth learning.
