If it is a linden home you can't, it is fixed. You could abandon it and get another linden home but they are all about the same size. You could abandon it and then go and buy some land on the mainland, maybe a bit bigger, say 1024 sqm. Then you could go to a house shop and buy a house that fits on that size plot. Or you could rent a bigger house.

Maybe you could edit your post and give some more details about what you have got and what you are looking for and then it would be easier to make some suggestions.

If you have a free Linden Home, you can abandon it and then get another one in a different style.  However, they are all on the same size parcels (512 sq meters) and have the same prim allowance (117.)

You can also buy vacant Mainland from another resident, or Abandoned Land from "Governor Linden" or purchase land through the land auctions.  You have to pay the initial purchase price, but you will not pay a monthly fee on the first 512 sq m.  If you buy a larger parcel than that, you will pay a monthly fee as shown in the table on this page: https://secondlife.com/my/account/landfees.php?lang=en-US

You can buy a pre-built home or build your own and put it on your land.  Be sure that the land is physically large enough for the house to fit, and that the house does not exceed the land's capacity (About Land/Objects/Parcel Land Capacity.)
