You can only export items that you have created yourself.  The Firestorm viewer will do it.  If you are exporting prim objects, you should be aware that the resulting file in Blender (or whatever) will need to be cleaned up quite a bit.  It will not be well-optimized, so you will have extra verts and tris.  There's a decent discussion in the Mesh forum at http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Mesh/export-from-SL-to-Blender/m-p/2704750 .  You probably ought to search there for others, or ask there.
