But you can log in, right?   If you can't teleport, there's a good chance that you have a firewall on your Internet that's blocking you.  Don't switch it off.  Just open it and create an exception for your Second Life viewer.  Here's how >>> http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Using-Second-Life-with-a-firewall/ta-p/1304539#Section_.1

If that does NOT solve the problem, take a look here for other possibilities >>> http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Landmarks-teleporting-and-SLurls/ta-p/700123#Section_.1a

Also, if you are using a wireless Internet connection, don't.  See  http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Wifi-and-satellite-connections/ta-p/1296823

If it's a Linden Home, you got an e-mail that tells you the address. You can also go to your dashboard at secondlife.com >>> Land Manager and look in My Mainland to see where you own property. If you have bought land anywhere, even if it's not a Linden Home, your land will be listed there. If you are renting, though, all bets are off. The best you can do is open your Transaction History (also on your dashboard) and look for your rent payment to find the landlord's name. Then ask him/her where your house is. When you finally find your house, be sure to take a landmark this time, or set your HOME there.
