Did the marketplace requirements of owning a store online, change?! :(

 I want to open up a store in the marketplace, however i keep running into a problem.

So I check the box, and hit Continue.

Instead of directing me to the continious page, it keeps telling me " http://prntscr.com/5iucq8 "   *SAD FACE* 

 

I do NOT have payment on file..because I am an art student (expensive major!) in RL, i do not have a RL job, so i obviously can not pay for SL.   I am making content that is NOT mesh.  They are just tattoos.  What a ridiculous requirment!!

 

Is there a way to get around this problem?  :(

No,  you must have payment info on file to open a Marketplace store.  See this blog post for more info.

The requirement doesn;t say that you have to spend money.  It says that you must have registered a way to spend money.  Open a PayPal account that is backed up with a credit card and register it with Linden Lab.  You don't need to USE the account, just have it.

Even art students can get PayPal accounts.  Your major is no excuse.
