I have a great HUD I purchased but I can not find "face" numbers the way the creator describes, nor the way SL describes. Everything gives "face" as "0".

Please see the HUD creators video and SL notes on how to find "face" as well as my image showing the result I am getting.

HUD video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bfPhF33-piA&feature=youtu.be
SL: how to find "face #": http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Face

My Results: face 0 for everything
face = 0 for all faces

the highlighting in your screen shots looks to me like you have more than one prim/mesh linked together, instead of one object with many faces. see how the names for "Texture name for:" vary? this also points to more than one prim lnked together.

to test this, turn off the select face, and turn on edit linked parts. user Ctrl+. or Ctrl., to cycle thru the prims/meshes in the linkset, and watch what is highlighted.
