I've finished a nice mesh shoe. The problem is, it's designed for the left foot. Is there a way I can flip the mesh in world or do I have to upload a seperate collada file? I am aware there are scripts for this sort of things in the marketplace but they cost more $ L than I have at the moment.

You have to mirror the mesh, and upload it again. There are no inworld mirror tools for mesh objects at this time.
For Blender, I would recommend using the Mirror Modifier.
