Ok so the issue I am having is whenever I try and create a skin I am getting these drastic lines of separation. Basically where the head template is, to the upper body template, and to where the lower body template it. So when I wear the skin it shows those color changes between each of those templates. I thought maybe the color was off on each so I tried using the exact same layer of color for each template.

I have tried all I can, and just a bit of information. I have been using photoshop for 3 years, so I have a pretty good understanding of photoshop. Also below is a photo of what I am talking about because I know it may have been pretty confusing. Also I will take anything suggestions, if you want to contact me in world my name is Lili Starship. I will appreciate any help thanks.

Even if you use the exactly same color as the base color, the layers for shading, highlights and such over it and the blending modes affect and change the color when the image is flattened. As you see in the picture the lower body is more desaturated than the upper body and the neck in the head part is obviously darker than the neck in the upper body part.

There is no quick and easy way to fix that unless you go for 3D painting (eg. http://avpainter.osbyte.net/). Check the outcome with SL clothes previewer (http://metaverse.mitsi.com/secondlife/Posts/SLCP/) and fix it over and over again till you are happy with that.
