Noob Texture Modding

I a trying to mod a free avatar ( https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Wingless-Emoto-Avatars-Ver-22-Full-Perms/5540623 ) it is full permissions. I got the textures down...except for the head. It tells me there are multiple textures, which no matter what I do I can't view.

When I apply a texture, well, it is an abomination. It repeats and doesn't follow what textures I CAN figure out. Can anyone help me?

Probably not.  Unless you received UV maps with the model so you know how and where the textures are to be applied, you're shooting in the dark.  You can try contacting the creator to ask.

To see the various textures in a linked set, you will have click the head, go to EDIT.  Check the option to Edit Linked then click one area of the head.  Go to the Texture tab and you will what the texture is for that prim.
