Im floating when I walk of the sidewalk

I made a sidewalk around a dance area, currently the dancearea is not finished so its only grass there, but when I walk out on the grass the avi is still on the same level as on the sidewalk. 

 

How can I fix that ?

It would be very hard to say without knowing how you made your sidewalk and what's underneath your grass.

The sidewalk from the welcome sign and towards the sea is a square I copied out from the building I have. The problem may be somthing there..

The problem is that the "grass" is not the ground.  It's a textured prim that you used to cover the entire parcel, including the part under the sidewalk. Your neighbor to the south did the same thing.  I'm not sure why either one of you did that, since you also took the trouble to flatten the real ground underneath. Anyway, that's what you are walking on.  Sometimes the collision surface of a megaprim will be different from its visible surface, especially if you have cut it and turned the cut side up.

I removed that square thing with the sidewalk and now I can walk on the grass
