How to make a prim for a dress?

I looked it up and I only found instructions on how to make it for a skirt not a dress can someone please help me?

When making dress with prims people usually use a system clothing top half and prims for the skirt, it is hard to use prims to make a top half of a dress unless it is mesh

Why don't you buy a mesh off the marketplace. There are plenty of full perm mesh kits listed there. :matte-motes-grin:

Export the shadow maps that come with it and then texture them in photoshop.

All clothing methods still have their proper uses. Even the "basic" flexiprims.  :matte-motes-sing: :matte-motes-asleep:

Yes.  Mesh is nice for some things, but if you want to make anything that flows instead of looking like a rubber suit, it's hard to beat flexi. (Go, 2007! :smileywink: ) Good practice uses whatever methods and materials are most appropriate to the design.
