Any Mac users plagued by this alt-mouse click cam bug?

Hi SL builders,

Are there any Mac users, who are, like me, plagued by this alt-mouse click cam bug? It's a bug that makes your camera view behave unexpectedly when you try to alt-click to focus on an in-world object. To me, it's a show stopper. I haven't been able to use Firestorm of the official Linden Lab viewer for months now, and had to resort to Singularity.

Very unfortunately, it was said by Oz Linden at one of the TPV meetings that they didn't consider this repro important because it it was an edge case (the Jiral is currently being triaged again, after it had been opened and closed several times.)

To determine whether this really is an edge case (and just tough luck for me), I'd like to know how many people (especially content creators like me) need this bug to be resolved. I call upon all Mac users who find this important to share their experiences here and vote and comment on the Jira pages.

I dont know if it is the same thing, but a few years ago I had a terrible problem with my mouse (Magic Mouse) veering off and jumping around.  Switching to a wired mouse (back to the old Mighty Mouse) fixed it.

I've been using Space Navigator for 5 years now and I've not run across this problem.  I can try one day and see if I can repo it and report in the Jira.

I'm unable to reproduce the problem using SL Project Benchmark 3.7.17 (294710).

Hi TriloByte Zanzibar. Is that viewer, SL Project Benchmark 3.7.17 (294710), the only viewer you have tested it in? I just downloaded and installed it and it was as bad as the other viewers
