Login Failed DNS could not resolve host name.

Ok once again I get this error from viewer 2, this time after getting the new update. I had this issue before when viewer 2 first came out, but it was fixed in later ones. Any suggestions on how to resolve this?

Try some of the steps on this page and see if anything helps.

Yes tried all that before, it's a SL viewer issue. I wish they would allow you to download previous versions 2.4 worked fine, I guess it's back using a different viewer like Phoenix again till another version comes out that fixes the problem again.

Well, you can download older versions (http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Old_versions), but v2.4 isn't among them atm.

Heh. I plugged in the version/build numbers and got it: http://download.cloud.secondlife.com/Viewer-2-4/Second_Life_2-4-0-216989_Setup.exe

Thanks good to get that back, works like a charm. I knew it was the new update that caused the issues.
