my avatarwill not stiop smiling even when i overwrite my c drive

My avatar started smiling perpetually and i cant stop it even when selecting outfits with no AO attached so i finally restored my trueimage backup of my C drive and its still freaking smiling!!! I cant use secondlife anymore. I have my smily avatar after i spent tons of money on clothes this happens, someone said theres a bug but i cant find any solution , this must be on the server because i can restore my good backup and still im smiling on all my outfits, i am ruling out something corrupted on my end because i restored the backup of the C drive. Please help.

The smiling is caused by something your avatar is wearing - almost certainly an attachment. Attachments can run animations, including facial expressions. Typically an attachment such as this is called a 'smiler'.

You should remove all attachments and then use the top menu: Me > My avatar > Stop animating me

Nothing about your avatar state is stored on your C:\ drive.
