Why is my avatar picker empty

i can click the avatar picher icon, but i see no avatars to choose from?

I'm not sure why it's empty, but I can tell you where else to look to put on a different avatar.

Open your Inventory, CTRL+I or the button with a suitcase symbol.

Navigate to the folder Library/Clothing.

Each sub-folder there is a complete avatar outfit.  Choose one, drag it and drop it onto your avatar to change into the new one.
