Why does my character look metallic?

When I have Basic Shaders on. I am using the Bifrost bunny avatar. Can be seen here

I have use 3 computer in game now

each one show up different graphic colour ( color )

A change of monitor can make a different to

most viewer look the same, but the Sl viewer you can see a change

so maybe trying a older viewer or change your viewer

Your avatar has been set to have Shine applied on top of the textures.

If the parts of this avatar are Modify - or there's a supplied HUD - you should edit to remove the Shine effect.

This can be done on the Texture tab of the Edit window.
