I feel stupid asking-but are new accounts stuck with the hideous mesh avatars?

I am new to mesh avatars. Are new accounts stuck with the ones we choose when we join, or can we purchase shapes and skins to upgrade the avatar?

There are thousands of Stores in world, to browse and see examples and also its our Marketplace.

A useful tip:

Never Buy, before you try!

You will find skins and clothes you will like.

Before you buy them, search for a DEMO product of the same product, or if the creator has a huge Store in world, then Teleport there and see the models who wearing those skins and so you can be sure how it looks like before you spend money for something that it will simply don't fit your taste, or it will be a bad design.

Hi Kayn,

You'll find old style avatars in the Library, so you needn't purchase a thing just yet. And you can certainly purchase old style shapes and skins in the marketplace. You are not stuck!

You can have any avatar you like. If you want to use most of the skins, etc. on the marketplace you should change to one of the "classic" avatars first to simplify things.
