It seems the forces of the universe are conspiring against me to make animations the only thing i can't do for SL.

I'm atempting to use Poser 8 for animations now, i attempted to make a simple eating out of a bag of chips animation, but every single attempt i've done it comes out a lot like this http://i.imgur.com/xBjxXLp.gif

I'm just about to tear my hair out. I've tried using Maya but none of the plugins work, i've tried using Qavimator but it's extremly frustrating for anything but single poses. A lot of people have suggested using Avistar with blender but i really don't like using blender and i already spent money on Poser 8 just for animating and it's not working out very well.

Also when ever i try to use the SL figures in Poser 8 it isn't animatable, none of the joints are selectable and no settings anywhere seems to help.

I've been searching for a solution to my animation issues with zero success, so i need a lot of help, biggest preference would be to animate in Maya 2014 as it's the program i'm most familiar with and already have some expirence in making animations with it. Poser 8 would be fine if i could get it to work properly, or am i pretty much going to be stuck buying Avistar for Blender?

Try using Linear Interpolation. What is going on is that Poser automatically rounds off every keyframe, and this is because of the Interpolation between keyframes. I almost never switch to Linear, unless the animation requires it. In most cases, simply adding more keyframes to an interpolation that is Bezier(meaning rounded) will fix the issue.
