I been thinking about getting into motion capture, and I am want some advice on what I should do to get some good results.

The animations I was thinking of doing are full body combat animations, this includes rolling around, punching, kicking, grappling, throwing and falling. I will be using a grappling dummy and a crash mat. So I need something that wont break after a slam or rubbing against a limb.

Possibly using two people animaitons too.

Give me numbers and suggestions, I have a full time job and I am experinced using Qav and Endorphin for a number of years now, I would prefer I am able to take that animation into Endorphin to interact with objects (Which I am sure is possible).

I'm really not sure what kind of advice you want. Are you asking what system to use? Are you asking how to edit the raw motion capture? Every program is a bit different, and each generally have their own solutions for different aspects. At this point in time, there are literally hundreds of ways to make a motion capture animation. What do I use? Well, for most of my work, I like to use the IPIsoft Desktop mocap system, and export that as a bvh. I then import that bvh into blender, and use the Avastar add on to transfer the bvh data onto the Avastar rig. Here, I can save the animation in the blend file, and use it on any other avastar rig in the scene. So, in Blender, using Avastar, I could easily set up 2 avatars, facing each other, and switching the animations between them.

ipisoft have just changed their pricing model to subscription for v3 which has upset a lot of users but may work for the OP.

Depending on timescale, have a look on Kickstarter, there are a number of very low cost sensor based suits coming.  The ones I ordered for two actors have been somewhat delayed but there are others too.

ipisoft with cameras is here:-

and an alternate:-

Other than that, what Medhui said, more detail needed really.
