Question

I have switched computers so I know i no longer have my old chat logs, but I was wondering if I would be able to contact someone at linden labs and if they have some magical machine that has all chat logs ever? ._. doubtful but just wondering lol

Nope.  Chat logs are saved on your own machine.  That's it.  (Well, I imagine that they are also still somewhere in SL's servers for a very short time, but the volume of chat in SL would be way too immense to save for long.  In any case, there's no way that you can get to them.)

If you still have your old machine, you can just copy the chat files you saved on it and move them over to your new machine.  They are in your AppData folder, filed in a subfolder with your viewer's name on it (SecondLife, Firestorm .... ), and then in subsubfolders with your av's names on them.

Linden Lab only retains chat logs for 14 days far as I can recall, presumably an arbitrary time deemed sufficient to allow abuse reports be investigated if necessary yet keep data storage to a minimum. I imagine the files must be encrypted too or secured by some other means so only those who have a need to read them (the Abuse Report team) can actually gain access. Otherwise, it would be very loose security.

Your only chance really is to try and retrieve the text files from your former computer.
